Summer School
Students have until Thursday, June 24th, to return their Student Contact Information Forms to our office and enroll in summer school credit retrieval courses.  The most efficient way to return the forms is to fax them to our office at 206-252-0141. Some classes are getting close to reaching maximum capacity.  Once a class fills up at a student’s preferred school, we will then enroll the student at another site, if one is available. Students should double check their summer school enrollment in the Source to confirm the class and location that they have been assigned to.  This is their responsibility and our office will not have time to notify students of any last minute changes.  Frank Tsuboi Summer School Program Research, Evaluation & Assessment Seattle Public Schools Mail Stop 32-159 PO Box 34165 Seattle, WA  98124-1165 206-252-0061 phone 206-252-0141 fax

All 8th grade students should register for classes at the high school to which they are currently assigned  for next year, even if they applied to attend a different school during Open Enrollment.  After assignment letters go out at the end of May, students who are assigned to a new high school through the Open Enrollment process will be contacted by their assigned high school about completing the registration process for that school.

IB and Ingraham Assignments: We are hearing from parents who are concerned that the "regular program" assignments they are receiving in their school assignment paperwork means that their students are not in the IB or honors program. The IB and Honors programs at Ingraham are part of the "regular" program. The designations used by the district simply refer to regular, special ed, or bilingual programming and do not include building based programs. I hope this brings reassurance to all of you that your children are welcome to register for honors and IB classes this spring when we start the course selection process for next year.

Ingraham Food and Toy Drive
FCCLA would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to the Food Drive and Giving Tree prior to the Winter Break.  We are pleased to say that Ingraham donated 600 lbs of food to the Lynnwood Food Bank. This food bank currently serves 3,990 individuals per month.  A special recognition to the Auto Shop classes who donated the largest portion of food collected. Also more than a dozen toys and gifts were donated to the Salvation Army and given to families and children in the "Toy and Joy" program. The Toy ‘n’ Joy program brightens the lives of thousands of children each year who otherwise would have no gifts to open during the holidays. Toy ‘n’ Joy is a purely volunteer-driven program - with people from all over the Northwest donating toys, time and expertise - and is a testament to the power of people coming together to help their neighbors in need.
