Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL): To be eligible for the IB Diploma, candidates are required to take one subject from each of the six groups. At least three (3) and not more than four (4) of the six subjects must be taken at the higher level (HL). The other subjects are taken at the standard level.

Students may take a maximum of 2 standard level (SL) exams during the Junior year.
