Bios:
Mrs. Susan Grant graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a double Bachelor of Arts in Family Consumer Science Education and Clothing and Textiles. She also received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle Pacific University. In addition she is endorsed in Family Health and Careers in Education. She is a certified trainer for CPR/First Aid and Food Workers Cards. She is very active in the state professional organizations related to her field. She has held the office of treasurer, Newsletter editor and nominations chair. She is the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) advisor, has advised several state officers, was the advisor to advisor for the state of Washington as well as helped many students win medals in a variety of areas at the regional, state and national levels. She is the mother of two children and enjoys spending most of her free time just being a mom. Other hobbies include sewing, cooking and decorating. Susan has won the WA-ACTE FCCLA advisor of the year award in 2000 as well as the Washington State Excellence in Education (Christa McAuliffe) award.
