Bios:

A native of Salt Lake City, Dean Ferguson graduated cum laude with a degree in English and French from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. Settling in Seattle in 1988, he earned his Master’s degree in Comparative Literature and a teaching certificate from the University of Washington. Since beginning his teaching career in 1991, he has taught French and Language Arts at a variety of grade and skill levels. He had a highly successful experience as a Fulbright Exchange Teacher in Scotland during the 1994-59 school year. Mr. Ferguson loves teaching and the pursuit of knowledge. He has two pet iguanas, enjoys backpacking, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family.
