Bios:

Dennis grew up in various locations in Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He attended high school in Texas and graduated with a BA in Sociology from Furman University, (Greenville, South Carolina), in 1970. He has worked in a Sheltered Workshop and a Residential Care facility for developmentally delayed children and adults. He also worked as an motorcycle and snowmobile mechanic and Service Manager in a factory dealership for a number of years. He began his employment with the Seattle School District in 1992 at West Seattle High School and moved to the CBT Department at Ingraham High School in 1999. At Ingraham Dennis coaches a rhythm band music class for nonverbal students and the vocal ensemble, Ram Euphony. He also Head Coach of the Ingraham Ram Special Olympics basketball and track teams. Outside of work, Dennis is an oboist and has performed with orchestras and chamber groups through out the Puget Sound area.
