Bios:

Walter Brodie has a BS in Nursing and a BS in Environmental Education. He began work in school nursing in 2001 after working in industrial hygiene, occupational health, farming and environmental education.  He once lived on a sheep farm in Norway, and he has traveled in China, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia.   He is married with one daughter (17) and one son (20).  He enjoys family, gardening, farming, backpacking, camping, bicycling and advocating for the students and families at Ingraham.  He advises students to focus on where their passion, skills and gifts meet the great needs of the world, and consider putting their life's work there.  Don't forget to get 8 hours of sleep, eat protein in your breakfast, and have dinner with your family sometimes. Remember that the traditional food of your ethnic group, what your mother or grandparents cook, is healthier than candy, chips, soda, and fast food! Get some exercise every day!
